Mgmt.   CIB Meetings   Menus   Logout	Title: JobCode: Salary: Location: Department: Position Summary: <p>The Housekeeping Shift Supervisor, under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, assists in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility are maintained according to established procedures and guidelines. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: <p>Supervise, guide and schedule all housekeeping shift employees.<p> Assist in the administration of preventive maintenance.<p> Inspect all public areas daily including restrooms and employee areas.<p> Train employees in the safe use of chemicals. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: <p>Ensure all cleaning chemical bottles are labeled and stored according to OSHA safety requirements.<p> Maintain housekeeping crib.<p> Complete maintenance work orders.<p> Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Tools, Equipment and Resources: <p>Two-way radio and pager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <p>Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.<p> Knowledge of the operation of mechanical cleaning equipment.<p> Knowledge of union contracts and work forces.<p> Ability to read/understand OSHA regulations and guidelines. Education, Training and Experience: <p>Three (3) to five (5) years experience in custodial work, preferably in a large facility.<p> Minimum one (1) yr. supervisory experience in union environment.
